Holy Cross Services helps families and individuals in crisis situations. We partner with other charities, organizations, and non-profits throughout Michigan to fight poverty, spread awareness, and make a positive impact on the communities that we serve. Individually and collaboratively, we seek to fight poverty and homelessness by addressing the causes of these social ailments.

Holy Cross Services proudly stands as a beacon of hope in this vast, ever-expanding sea of despair that is spreading like the plague throughout Michigan. It is our commitment to bible principles and the love of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior that compels us to serve our neighbors with passion.

What Makes Holy Cross Shelters Different from Other Homeless Shelters in Michigan?

Put simply; Holy Cross Services provides more services to more people. Whereas most Michigan homeless shelters house men only, Holy Cross Services homeless shelters are for families at risk and vulnerable individuals in our communities. We also partner with men and women homeless shelters to provide temporary, emergency housing for those who need it all year long.

Another thing that sets Holy Cross Services apart from other homeless shelters is that we work with communities to solve the problems that cause homelessness, as our mission is to end homelessness one community at a time. At the same time, we empower our residents to move from crisis to self-sufficiency through skill training programs, addiction treatment programs, and all other kinds of services that help people to solve the problems that make them homeless.

Learn More About How We Prevent Homelessness

Rather than waiting for our most vulnerable neighbors to fall into an emergency situation, Holy Cross Services knows that the best way to stop homelessness is to prevent it from happening in the first place. That is why we work with economically challenged households to avoid homelessness and establish long-term stability.

Holy Cross Services deals with housing, food, transportation, and other issues that cause or contribute to poverty. Through education, community engagement, and awareness, we can stop homelessness and help everyone in our communities to live a better quality of life. Please, help us help others.

Whether you want to serve food at a homeless shelter, deliver hot meals to the elderly, or help in any number of other ways; Holy Cross Services welcomes and thanks you. We would love to work with you. Also, if you are in a position to give a gift, Holy Cross Services always accepts donations, whether it be in the form of a check, clothing, food, unwanted furnishings, etc. Someone else may benefit greatly from your gift.

Through counseling, she finally decided that she "wanted to get her life back." We did not know that she was addicted, but we knew that she was in constant pain,
